Manglik Dosh

Manglik Dosh- if Mars is placed in a Horoscope in any of the houses listed below:

House 1 (Ascendent),  House 4 (House of happiness or mental peace),  House 7 (House of marriage),  House 8 (House of longevity),  House 12 (House of expenditure)

• 1st House (Ascendant): Presence of Mars is likely to cause quarrels with spouse, physical violence, and sexual abuse
• 4th house: Presence of Mars is likely to result in frequent change of professions and jobs, job insecurity and economical instability
• 7th house: Presence of Mars is likely to cause differences in opinion among family members, loose temperament, disturbed sexual life of affected person,
• 8th house: Presence of Mars in eighth house of horoscope of affected person may create hatred toward work and elderly people. Risks for loss of paternal property are also involved.
• 12th house: Possibilities of sudden financial losses, arising mental problems, anxiety, and developing enmities and trouble from enemies

Manglik Dosh Exceptions
Manglik dosh is caused by presence of Mars in certain houses as discussed above. However, ill effects of dosh ought to be neutralized under following conditions:

1. If Mars is present in 2nd house, in the signs of Gemini and Virgo,

2. If Mars is present in 4th house in its own sign (Aries and Scorpio),

3. If Mars is in 7th house, in the signs of Cancer and Capricorn,

4. If Mars is in 8th house, in the signs of Sagittarius and Pisces signs

5. If Mars is in 12th house, in the signs of Taurus and Libra

6. If Mars is there is 4th/8th house then the manglik dosha gets canceled.

7. If benefic Jupiter or Venus is in ascendant no dosha.

8. If Mars is in conjunction or aspected by Jupiter or Moon no dosha.

9. If Mars is in conjunction/aspected by Sun, Mercury, Saturn, Rahu no dosha.

10. If a manglik person is born on Tuesday.

11. Mars in Leo and Cancer rashis brings good fortune and a manglik dosha exception.

12. Association of Mars with Jupiter and Saturn in certain cases cancels the dosha

13. Retrograde mars does not cause dosha.

14. A weak mars loses ability to cause dosha.

15. If planets like Saturn, Rahu and Ketu are present in the above houses in addition to Mars, Manglik dosh is rendered ineffective

Manglik Dosh Remedies
The bad effects of Manglik Dosh can be reduced with the help of astrological remedies
A special pooja is performed in the Mangal Nath temple, ujjain, Madhya Pradesh
by experts Pandit ji. It costs about Rs 1500-2000. Other remedies include:

• Daily chant the Hanuman Chalisa,

• Fasting every Tuesday of a new month in a rising moon

• Chant Sunder Kand from Tulsi Ramcharitmanas for the period of 40 days begining Tuesday.

• Recite Gayatri Mantra for 108 times in a day.
• Everyday worship Lord Hanuman using ‘Om Shreem Hanumate Namah’ mantra. Visit Hanuman Temple on every Tuesday and distribute sweets and sindoor etc.
• Donate red cloth to the workers who work with sharp iron items.
• Perform Hanumant Sadhana using triangular mangal yantra and mangal stotra.
• It is advised by astrologers that a person having a Manglik Dosh in his or her horoscope should only marry a person who also has Manglik Dosh in his or her horoscope.
• A Manglik boy or girl must always marry to a manglik partner only.
• In Hindu tradition, Manglik women are required to go through a ceremony called “Kumbh Vivah” in which they have to marry either to a peepal tree, or a banana tree or a silver/ golden idol of the Lord Vishnu. A Manglik Woman may even marry a clay urn whichneed to be broken soon after the nuptial ceremonies, signifying that the bride has become a widow and the manglik dosh problem has been done away with.
